Gaon Trust interacts with over 10000 older persons every year through its volunteers. We are currently associated with Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment for projects related to Senior Citizens Care under NITI Aayog. Gaon Welfare Trust is running an Old Age home in Anguthi Village, Agra. We try to provide all necessary facilities to elderly in order to empower them to lead their life with pride and dignity.
This problem of elderly people living alone is increasing day by day in India, including Urban and Rural areas.
65% of elderly in India suffer from financial crises and are dependent on others. In Rural India condition of senior citizens is more sad due to family feuds, property issues and less availability of medical facilities for old age ailments.
Guardian Angels Of Nation Educational & Welfare Trust is a not- for-profit organization in India, registered under the Indian Trust Act of 1882. Set up in 2018, the organization works for ‘the cause and care of disadvantaged older persons to improve their quality of life’.
